The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is safety-focused and works to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the equipment that handles physical material within our global network of Fulfillment and Sort Centers across UK.

Position Responsibilities:

• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
• Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Requirements & Skills:

• Knowledge of IOT device development or testing, specifically Home Security Systems
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
• Knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies, such as WIFI, Bluetooth, especially ZWave, Zigbee.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and delivery quality products on time
• Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
• Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and to be able to synthesize results

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
• Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
• Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience of sortation machines.
• Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
• Experience of high voltage switching.
• Experience of print and apply machines.
• Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent
